In each of our statewide branches, children will find coloring sheets and goodies to grab, specially decorated teller stations (April 16-20), and employees on hand to help your child open their very first savings account. This year, our Youth Month theme is “The Science of Savings” – and let’s just say, we’re getting pretty into it.
Youth Month is a great time to build the excitement of savings throughout your family. After all, it’s never too early to introduce a curious child to the power of saving money! For more info on kid-friendly savings accounts, visit us at your favorite branch or message us on Facebook. You’ll also have the opportunity to vote on your favorite decorated teller station via Facebook, to help one lucky CU1 branch win a free employee lunch!
In addition to kid-friendly branch activities, Credit Union 1 will also be raising funds for Best Beginnings in April. We’ve shared more info about this organization over on our blog! Their mission is to mobilize people and resources to ensure that all Alaska children begin school ready to succeed. By donating to this worthy cause, you’ll help put books in the hands of Alaskan youth and ensure a brighter future for our local children.
