Program Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum® emphasizes the development of social competence, learning through play, fostering independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem. Its underlying philosophy draws from widely accepted research and theories of child development and learning.

Toddlers: 19-35 Months

All toddlers have a primary caregiver to watch over them as they grow. Activities at this age center around their growing independence and emphasize eating, toileting, language, and movement. As toddlers become more independent, they are encouraged to explore and interact with others in an environment that is safe, challenging and fun.

Preschool: 3-5 Years

The Preschool Program provides opportunities for children to explore and learn in an enriching environment. Children are encouraged to develop their creativity, as well as their experience in science, art, music, reading, drama, cooking and blocks. These activities help develop their emotional and social skills, and enhance the learning and physical growth of children.

School Age: K-3rd grade
Credit Union 1 Little 1's Learning Center offers weekend care and a before and after school age program for children. Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from school. In addition to the many interest centers, the children are invited to use our computer learning stations.
