A little about how we work:

At Credit Union 1, you’re given a member number when you join us, which at other financial institutions might be called an “account number.” To us, you’re not just another account. When you open your new member number, you become a part-owner and member of a not-for-profit credit union. We work for you and return profits to you in the form of lower interest rates, higher dividend rates and more!

Using your member number, you can open multiple sub-accounts (which you may hear us call “suffixes”). A suffix is the letter/number combination inside the parentheses by each CU1 account. Each suffix has different perks and benefits, and each one is designed to help you manage your money easily, earn dividends, and enjoy different services. The account combination that works best for you will depend on your unique money needs. We're here to help you find the perfect combination for your personal situation!

If you have questions about your Credit Union 1 accounts, please don’t hesitate to call our Member Service Center at (907) 339-9485 or (800) 478-2222, or visit one of our branches!
