Our Mission - To help members achieve their financial goals by focusing on excellent service and value.

In 1952, Credit Union 1 began as the Anchorage Teachers Federal Credit Union. Since then, we’ve merged with FedAlaska, Ward Cove, and North Country Credit Union. Together, we represent a large and diverse membership base that we proudly extend to anyone who lives or works in the great state of Alaska.
Each and every service that Credit Union 1 provides gives back to our members. We do a lot more than just finances! Within our Alaskan communities, we teach, build, fundraise, and donate. Our wide-ranging social activities and financial services represent the heart of the credit union movement -- a movement for selflessness. Each member has unique financial needs and wants, and unique financial hopes and dreams. We’re here to help turn those dreams into a reality, and we won't turn our back when our members need us most.
Credit Union 1 strongly upholds its Core Values as an affirmation of our belief in the credit union’s community purpose: to advocate vision and integrity, to provide quality services, and to act as responsible, ethical citizens. Whether we are implementing cutting edge products, ensuring accurate and timely transactions, or taking an active role in supporting our community, Credit Union 1’s efforts to financially benefit Alaskans are ongoing and sincere. We are honored to service our members’ expanding financial needs. In everything we do, we support the true credit union spirit of “people helping people.” If you’re not already a member, please join us!
